Seafood Sustainability Statement

Cadence Kitchen is committed to the sourcing of sustainable seafood ingredients. To ensure this requirement is met throughout our seafood supply chain, all seafood vendors are verified to ensure the products they are selling to Cadence Kitchen meet our seafood sustainability policy.

For Wild Caught seafood:

  1. Source 100% of our wild caught seafood from fisheries that are Marine Stewardship Council certified or in MSC full assessment OR
  2. Currently engaged in fishery improvement projects (FIPs), making measurable and time-bound Progress, with public reporting every 6-12 months OR
  3. Certified by other Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI)-recognized schemes.

For Farm Raised seafood:

Source 100% of farm-raised seafood species from fisheries that are certified to aquaculture standards that are recognized by the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI) such as Best Aquaculture Practice (BAP) and the Global Aquaculture Alliance’s (GAA) standards.
