Dear Valued Customer,

At Cadence Kitchen, we take your personal health and safety very seriously. You may have some growing concerns about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and we wanted to put your mind at ease. As a frozen food brand, We are in the business of serving people and in the midst of this outbreak, it’s important that we give you as much information as possible about the procedures we follow to produce our food and maintain a sanitary environment in our freezer bunkers once we’re in the market.

As you know, we are highly committed to helping stop food waste, and buying frozen food makes a dramatic impact on your weekly waste and encourages us to be more mindful about our consumption choices in general. With Cadence Kitchen’s frozen food program, your food remains safely frozen until you’re ready to eat it, reducing the probability of food spoiling and getting tossed out as waste.

Please know that:

  • The freezer bunkers are washed, cleaned, and sanitized daily to ensure the best sanitary and food safety practices.
  • We no longer sell food in bulk format. All food is now packaged in designated serving sizes.
  • All our ingredients, including meat and poultry, are procured from suppliers that have met the highest food safety criteria, including Good Manufacturing Practices and Industry Food Safety Certifications.
  • All our products are completely safe as they are designed to be cooked in a skillet for 10-15 minutes. According to the World Health Organization, Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) advice, products can be safely consumed if these items are cooked thoroughly and properly handled during food preparation. Viruses are not transmitted to humans through properly cooked food, as they are sensitive to heat. Please make sure you follow the directions and cook to a minimum of 165 °F.

We are closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19. We will continue to seek guidance from these agencies and public health officials, and we will update you as new information becomes available.

Rest assured, you can continue to rely on us for all your frozen pantry needs.

Thank you for being such a valued member of our Cadence Kitchen family.
