Whether I’m in the test kitchen or at home, I’ve always found seafood to be one of the most interesting ingredients to work with. The versatility of cooking methods, depth of flavors, and astonishing variety get me every time. Whether it’s unctuous lobster tail served with filet mignon or a sleeves-up, down-home crab boil, seafood is about elegance as much as it is about having a party.
I am thrilled to introduce you to four new chef-driven additions to our menu, all featuring sustainably-sourced seafood and international flavors. We’ve really thrown all of our creative energy into these dishes to prioritize the highest quality ingredients, tastefully select every spice, and expertly balance each flavor profile so you can truly feel like you’re dining out at home™️. We can’t wait for you to taste these newcomers from our kitchen.
During a time when we’re all adapting to working and eating at home with increased regularity, we hope these dishes provide just the same satisfaction you’d get from eating out, but in our innovative nitro flash-freezing format that opens up a whole new way to enjoy food at home.
And without further ado, I’m pleased to present our new seafood menu:
Inspired by the festive fare of Spain, our paella is a total showstopper! A jam-packed medley of sustainably sourced whole shrimp, fresh sea scallops, tender calamari, and savory mussels come together with bright bell peppers and green peas, all infused with real saffron and creamy Arborio rice. With big flavors and bountiful ingredients, our paella is perfect as a starter and equally satisfying as an entree. Serve with a crisp lager and you’ll feel as if you’ve arrived at a party in the Spanish seaside!
Let’s travel from Spain to Italy for our elevated take on a decadent classic. Our Scallops Carbonara features sustainably sourced bay scallops in an authentic sauce made with savory bacon, sweet green peas, and delicate mushrooms and leeks. Sauteed in a white wine and tarragon sauce that uses real cream, our Carbonara brings the fine dining experience straight to your table. Enjoy either as a side dish or as an entree, preferably with a crisp Riesling to balance the savory flavors.
We can’t depart from Italian coastal cuisine without Shrimp Scampi! Our take on this dish includes succulent, sustainably sourced shrimp, sauteed in a bright lemon white wine sauce, mixed with bright herbs and fresh tomatoes and leeks. It makes for a great side or can be used to build a larger meal by adding pasta for example. With no artificial ingredients and only 180 calories, our scampi brings good, clean, flavorful fun.
Finally, we have an American classic, Salmon Dijon. Wild-caught Alaskan Sockeye salmon is complemented with thin slices of sauteed mushrooms and fresh spinach in a creamy white wine Dijon sauce. The subtle kick of the cream sauce perfectly pairs with the salmon for an elegant dish that can be enjoyed any day of the week, or saved for a special occasion. Best served with a Chardonnay!
