Biography

Brian Wynn is Owner and Chairman of the Board at Cadence Kitchen, leading our mission to completely revolutionize the way we enjoy food at home.

Brian brings 35 years of experience in the food industry to Cadence Kitchen. He began his career as Founder and CEO of Rubicon Resources, one of the nation’s leading suppliers of sustainable seafood.

When it comes to his work at Cadence Kitchen, Brian is determined to “swing for the fences” in creating an entirely new way to dine out at home. He wants to eliminate untrustworthy food and put confidence back into food from the freezer section. He’s excited about the opportunities for disruption and change in the food industry, and he’s proud to be leading Cadence Kitchen toward offering a more convenient, more delicious and more sustainable way to eat food at home.

Brian is active in the food industry and his community. His positions with leading food, business, and community organizations include:

  • Director and Member of the Executive Committee – National Fisheries Institute (NFI) (2011 – 2014)
  • Director and Founding Member – Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI) (2010 – 2017)
  • Member of Young Presidents Organization and YPO, Los Angeles Chapter (2004 – Present)
  • Director – Brottman Hospital, Culver City, CA (2009 – 2012)
  • Chairman – Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation (2012 – Present)
  • Trustee – Viewpoint School (2016 – Present)

Brian received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business degrees from the University of California, Irvine.
