Biography

Alex Klein is Owner & President at Cadence Kitchen, where he’s committed to driving the frozen food revolution and dispelling aversions toward frozen food. He works tirelessly to maintain the integrity of the food that Cadence Kitchen procures, manufactures and that ultimately ends up on the dinner tables of families across the country.

Alex grew up in a family with ties to the commercial food industry and has been exposed to the business at all levels since childhood. He has worked in the food industry for 17 years—ever since his first job out of college. Before Cadence Kitchen, he built a $30 million national program spanning three different categories and leveraging production capabilities in five countries.

Now, Alex is excited to be on the ground floor of Cadence Kitchen as he and the team work to fundamentally change the perception of frozen food and how it’s merchandised so that they can offer a better, tastier and more sustainable way to dine out at home. He knows that food creates an emotional connection, and he’s grateful to have a positive effect on people’s lives through our food.

Alex earned his Bachelor of Arts at Georgetown University, where he majored in finance and accounting. He uses the business foundation and tools he gained there throughout this professional endeavors, and is committed to returning a maximum value to shareholders—without cutting corners or sacrificing integrity.
